At Winchmore Hill CC, our Colts section is the lifeblood of the club, providing a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for young cricketers of all abilities. From children taking their first steps in cricket through the ECB All Stars programme to experienced hard-ball players preparing for senior cricket, we offer opportunities for every age and stage of development.

Junior training takes place every Sunday morning throughout the season, with dedicated coaching sessions designed to develop skills, confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the game. For our older and more experienced hard-ball cricketers, additional training is held on Friday evenings, helping players continue their progression towards adult cricket.

The Colts section is led by our Head of Junior Cricket, Glynnis Culley, who has been involved with the club for longer than most of us can remember. Glynnis brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role, having represented England Ladies during her playing career, and remains passionate about helping young cricketers reach their potential while ensuring they enjoy every minute of their cricketing journey.

Our Colts programme is about much more than cricket. We pride ourselves on creating a strong family atmosphere where parents, players, coaches, and volunteers all play their part. Sunday mornings are a highlight of the week, with our popular tuck shop providing well-earned refreshments after training and giving families the chance to socialise and enjoy the community spirit that makes Winchmore Hill CC such a special place to play cricket.
